This was my Day 3 task in the SITS PROBLOGGER CHALLENGE!
If you know of other sites that offer this info please list here, we all need more ideas of what to do with the kids during the summer.
I have one to add.....Community Pool-swimming in my area cost $1 for 3 hrs of swimming. I take a book, glasses, sunscreen, and the kids and head on down M-F.

for good, cheap fun!
Hi! I'm visiting from the SITS pro-blogger challenge! one of the low-cost things I used to do when my kids were little was to wait until after 4pm, when the nearest state park (with a lake, playgorund & picnic areas) would let us in for FREE.It was still hot, the crowds were smaller, and we had hours before the sun went down.
My 17 month old has been snorting a lot of markers lately ;) The non-toxic kind, thankfully. It is, nevertheless, disturbing but it eats up a lot of our time... Or snorts up a lot of our time... LOL. Visiting from the SITS Pro-Blogger Challenge as well :)
I couldn't survive summer without bubbles and sidewalk chalk! Great list!
thanks ladies! Summer fun is very important! We have the whole month of August we need to plan out next week. I will be using some of the ideas of course. WE do need to go to the Zoo...family passes I do have :)
