MomGoesWild- Eraselet Review and Giveaway!

MomGoesWild & her family, love Eraselet!

Eraselet, The Bracelet That Eraces!!!
Eraselet

Eraselets are awesome! Everyone in our social network including ourselves and our kids think that these are such an amazing invention. Eraselets are the new must have accessory. Not only are they super for kids - adults can wear/use these too. Our kids change their colour to match their outfit (or not) and I have my "wild" Eraselet on at all times (Kim, the owner,  sent me a special Eraselet to represent my "wild" side - A tiger--Thanks Kim--I will treasu)

What is an Eraselet, you ask? Well, it's a bracelet that erases. They are convenient, fun, and practical. They come in various colours, and styles. They work very well, just as well as any other eraser I've used. So now, why would I go and buy an eraser I have to look for? I wouldn't, because I have an Eraselet.

The Eraselet was invented by Bryan Ricci after his 3 daughters kept loosing their erasers. Eraselets are a fun, fashionable and functional school supply that give kids a new way to keep up with their erasers. Eraselets are made in the USA and give 10% of their net proceeds to Erase World Hunger, a non-profit started by Brian & Kimberly Ricci to help feed orphans around the world.

Eraselet Fun Facts
  • They are made in the United States
  • Eraselets can be custom made (would make a great item for fundraisers, business promo's, and even birthday party treats)

  • You can find Eraselets various Dollar General Market Stores for only $1

Sahara is PLANNING her 8th Birthday Party

She is so much more organized than I am! She wants to have a Hello Kitty Party~ awww I love Hello Kitty!  This will be so much fun.  She hasn't really ever had a real birthday party with friends so this is a big step for her.  She even gave up an iPod to have this party.  We told her we were unable to buy her the big presents she wants ( Friends Lego House and iPod) and have a party so she had to figure it out.  She came to us later and said okay 1 present and a Party!

Now time to PLAN!  I was going through Pinterest for party ideas.  I already have someone doing Hello Kitty Cake Pops~ https://www.facebook.com/TotalPackageEvents - a sister duo who is super talented in party stuff.   So I can check that off my list.

I can do these:

Now maybe I can pull something like this off (haha):

This is hecka cute but might be too young for her

I just asked Daddy if he would be willing to make a Hello Kitty Birthday Banner (airbrushed) and he said OF COURSE!  Check that off the list- picture opportunity!

I will need to find PARTY SUPPLIES:

This is just the first stage of PLANNING so you will see more!  All pictures (except Sahara's Plan) is from Pinterest- you should be able to click on picture.

Review: Kraft MilkBite Milk and Granola Bars

We were contacted to TRY this product and I'm so happy they reached out to us because what an awesome product.  My kids really enjoyed having this as their snack when they got home from school.  They were able to take it outside with them, instead of having to sit at the table.  They both said they like the flavors and the taste.  I was impressed because they don't always like HEALTHY snacks!  My son like the chocolate and my daughter LOVED the Strawberry flavor. The request to get more is already on the grocery list.  The bars need to be refrigerated so I didn't send them in their lunches but after looking at the Facebook page- you can freeze them and by lunch they would be thawed!  What a great idea!  What I like the best is my kids loved them and it FILLED them up!  Sometimes I have to give them kids 3-4 different snacks for them to get full- the Milk Bites granola bars worked!

If you want to know more KRAFT MILKBITE Milk Granola Bars then visit their Facebook Page.

You can find KRAFT MILKBITE Milk Granola Bars in the refrigerated dairy aisle at your local store.  Their suggested retail price is $3.49.

From Kraft~KRAFT MILKBITE Bars are a new, unique innovation in snacking made with real milk and calcium to provide the same calcium as an 8 oz glass of milk.  A wholesome alternative to existing bars, KRAFT MilkBite Bars are adeliciously different snacking experience the entire family can enjoy!

Shoplet.com Duck Tape Review

When I got the package in the mail from Shoplet.com to do a REVIEW on Duck Tape/Packaging Tape I was like WOW what the heck am I going to do with the tape. Oh boy, there is 101 things I can use duck tape for and didn't even think about!

With the Duck EZ Start Premium Packaging Tape I fixed a book cover for my daughter, I fixed a poster for my son (that my daughter ripped off the wall) and I taped up boxes that was put in storage.

With the Zebra Printed Duck Tape I fixed my broom handle and now I have a COOL Broom!

My hubby had to send off a box the other day and the excited in his eyes when I pulled out the Duck EZ Premium Packaging Tape with Dispenser was priceless. He hates the Post Office so anything to help speed up the process is a dream for him. He really liked how easy it was to use the tape. You can use it perfectly with just one hand and it doesn't look like a 5 yr old did it! I've seen him tape up boxes before and I always giggle because it looks like a mess but this box didn't. He has to ship boxes out every couple weeks so he is super happy we have this tape at home now. Also when he found out I had other tape he took one downstairs and repaired some of his airbrush stuff.

Every household should have  Duck EZ Start Premium Packaging Tape and and I highly recommend the Zebra Printed Duck Tape because it makes everything look cool and of course it's durable.

Iris and the Dragonflies - Review and Giveaway - MomGoesWild

MomGoesWild
is in love with this book & she thinks you will be too!!

Am I back to reality yet? Whoa!!...Stephanie! Wake up!!

For a week now, I was instantly brought back to my childhood and I felt like I was the main character, in this book, Iris and the Dragonflies, written by Rosemary Danielis. I felt like I was that 11 year old girl again, back home, on a tiny island in Québec. I could see me, being Iris, sneaking down to the brook to play, and it's so ironic that our brooks were covered with a sea of the flowers, called Iris'.

When I started reading this book, my children were visiting my parents, on that very same island, where everything is so magical, serene, and where freedom is the attraction. Knowing my 9 year old son would love this book, and to hopefully open up his imagination while he was there, I asked him to read it as well. It was such an awesome opportunity for my son and I to connect, and relive the magical experience of Iris and my childhood, together. I have so many different connections with this book.

I really don't want to reveal too much about this book, because I have already demanded that my book buddies read this astonishing masterpiece. Although, I'm not sure if any of them will be able to connect to this book as much as I have.

It's a magical story of Iris, who is connected with her Dragonfly friends but doesn't know why. She later learns that she has special connections with not only her closest human friends, but as well with the Earth. It's one of those books that I couldn't just put away and forget about for a few days. I had to read it every lunch hour, and every night at bed time. This book covers all the important aspects of life - family, friendship, loyalty, history and imagination.

That's it! I'm not spilling another word!!! I don't want to ruin it for you.

Rosemary has such a talent with words. It was so well written and very easy to understand and feel. There were times when I couldn't help but wonder if it was written for me, as some sort of sign. I related to the setting, the main character, and most interesting of all, I relate to what Iris, the Dragon Seer, was born to protect, Her, Mother Earth.

As strange as this may sound, I almost felt like my childhood came to a halt when the book ended. I really hope that Rosemary Danielis doesn't keep my inner child locked up for too long! :)

Please visit the website for Iris and the Dragonflies and check out the Facebook fan page to learn more.

How would you like to go back to your childhood for a few hours a day and see the world through Iris's eyes? Enter below, for your chance to win, one of 5 Kindle versions and one AUTOGRAPHED paperback of Iris and the Dragonflies. That's right! 6 winners!!!

Thank you to these wonderful bloggy friends for helping me promote this review & giveaway! Why not visit their blogs while you are here and see what they are up to?
