My Little Girl Turns "9" This Week

Oh my where as the time went!  Sahara turns 9 in less then a week and I can't believe it.  She has been my shinning light ever since she was born.  She keeps me going every day that's for sure.

The day she was born was very emotional for all of us.  It was a planned C-section so we knew when she was coming but we didn't know she would be born with two extreme clubfeet.  The first day of her life she was put in casts- from top of legs to her toes.  This was very emotional and we had no idea what to expect. The Dr told us she might not walk because of how extreme her feet were turned in.  So the next 2-3 years were a lot of casting, couple surgeries, a lot of Dr Appt's, braces, and a lot of tears.  We do physical therapy now. Today she still has a bit of a pigeon toe run and can't put down one of her feet all the way but she is not letting anything stop her.  So proud of her and her determination.

She loves to DANCE~

I'm so proud of my almost 9 year old she ROCKS and I'm looking forward to what she is going to do in the years to come.

I'm in need of a Blog Makeover!

I want a blog makeover!!!!  I've been visiting a lot of sites today and so many of them are so cool looking.    I want a cool blog!!! Can you see me jumping up and down and pouting- LOL!  I want a clean crisp site that looks professional but still cute.  I might have to do some research but if you know of anyone that does blog design for Blogger at a decent price please let me know.  There are so many things wrong with my blog and I need a revamp!  

BTW~ I can do trade for Blog Design- I'll clean up your Pinterest Boards or Create New Ones for you- can you tell I'm desperate LOL! But really I'll do a trade of some sort or pay LOL!

Always CHECK your SPAM FOLDER! Lesson Learned

WHY....because not everything in there is SPAM.  Guess what I found in there yesterday....I WAS A WINNER OF A $500 GIFT CARD.  Yes, I almost lost out on $500. I knew it wasn't SPAM because I actually entered this contest on Facebook.  It was a local mall and when I contacted them- I did ask if this was SPAM.  They responded back and was so nice and even told me they posted on their Facebook page.

PROOF:

They asked me what store I would like the $500 gift card to be from and without really "thinking" through I told them OLD NAVY.  All of us could use some new clothes (I know I do) for spring/summer so I picked a store where my whole family could get something.  But later I was like I should have picked the Apple Store and got a iPad- LOL!  Just kidding CLOTHES are a great prize and we all get to enjoy.  So Friday I go into the office and sign some paperwork and then OLD NAVY here we come!

My name is Pam and I'm a blogger/social media junkie during the week and then work as a waitress on the weekends.  I'm a mom of 3 wonderful kids (1 is grown and living on his own) then I have a 11 yr and almost 9 yr old.  They are my life!  Then there is the love of my life- my hubby Ron he is an awesome airbrush artist .  We have been together for 14 years.

Proud Mom Moment- My Son Rocked His Presentation at School!

My Beautiful 11yr old Son Ronnell! 

Last week my son's 5th Grade Class did presentations in front of all the parents.  My son was so nervous and worried his voice would crack but he did AWESOME.  He smiled big and made the audience laugh several times during his presentation.

What I loved the most was he wrote about his DAD and watching the Super Bowl this year.  The presentation had so much detail that it made you feel like you were right there with them on the couch in front of the big screen TV.  When his dad read it later- he had a smile on for hours.  He was impressed and overjoyed his son wrote about him. Ronnell is a mama's boy all the way but he sure does love to hang out with dad when it comes to sports and video games.
